Animal-assisted Expressive Therapy

What is Animal-assisted Expressive Therapy?

The un-mediated meeting with different animals:

Rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.

Learning responsibility, giving expression to emotions and difficulties, and working on them with the help of an instructor.

Through animal-assisted therapy the child is exposed to their own inner world and their positive strengths are reinforced. These are expressed both in therapy and in their daily life.

In therapy the child learns how to use their positive strengths to strengthen their ability to cope with difficulties.
