Music emotional therapy

What is Music Therapy?

Therapy using music and musical instruments to open an alternative channel

of communication for the client to express feelings and emotions, where they frequently have difficulty expressing themselves using words.

The purpose of the therapy is to enable every client to feel good about themselves and the world around them. When a child isn't open emotionally, their life gets stuck. Music serves as a tool to release blocks, helping them overcome various difficulties.

By connecting to that which is healthy and creative in them, the client learns to focus on these areas.

Nature of the therapy, and who would benefit from it

Music speaks to everybody, and therefore the therapy is appropriate for all people, and all ages. Every individual finds the place where they connect to music, and there are a variety of ways in which to do so: making music with instruments, listening to music, writing music, singing, composing lyrics, etc. Each person finds the path to connect, which causes them to identify with different feelings - sadness, happiness, despair, hope, etc.

There is no requirement for prior knowledge of music
